Abstract: Objective To investigate the application of sequential organ failure assessment(SOFA) score in the evaluation of the condition and prognosis of patients with craniocerebral injury.Method A retrospective analysis was performed in 105 eligible patients with craniocerebral injury. These patients were divided into death group(n=41) and survival group(n=64) according to clinical outcome.Clinical data were recorded every day and SOFA score was performed at the beginning of admission(SOFA1) and 72 hours after admission(SOFA2).Results There were significant differences in SOFA1,SOFA2 and △SOFA between the two groups(P<0.01).The death rate goes up when SOFA2 become higher. Conclusion The SOFA score is positively correlated with the prognosis of patients with craniocerebral injury.Dynamic SOFA score combined with other indicators can provide valuable information for evaluating the condition and prognosis of patients with craniocerebral injury.
