Abstract:A new measurement device for fuel injection rate was tested and built according to the formula of momentum conservation equation derivation of the fuel injection rate.And,jet momentum of single nozzle of injector could be measured directly and simply from this test rig.Another test rig for fuel injection rate based on the Bosch tube method was used to test and calibrate the results from the device of fuel injection rate based on the flat plate.Comparing and analysis of injection signals and influence of injection rate on different fuel quality and spray distance,measurement error was less than 4.8%.Thus the measurement device could be used to measure and reflect the actual fuel injection variation of injectors’ nozzles.
