Abstract:【Abstract】 Objective To investigate CT and MRI findings of bone lymphoma, and to evaluate the value of CT/MRI in bone lymphoma diagnosis. Methods CT and MRI findings were retrospectively analyzed in 23 cases of bone lymphoma proved by pathology(5 cases of primary bone lymphoma and 18 cases of secondary bone lymphoma). Results The tumor existed as a solitary lesion and was located in the femur, ilium, humerus, sternum and jaw in the 5 cases of primary bone lymphoma, respectively. These lesions were characterized by the presence of infiltrate with soft-tissue masses.Among the 18 cases of secondary bone lymphoma,10had solitary lesion and 8 had polyostotic lesions(osteolytic lesion in 5,infiltrative lesions in 6,sclerosis lesions in 2 and mixed lesions in 5).Lesions showed equal or low signal intensity on T1WI and high signal intensity on T2WI-FS.In addition,MRI scan showed homogeneous or inhomogeneous enhancement. Conclusion Bone lymphoma has typical features at CT and MR imaging, which are valuable for the diagnosis and differentiation of bone lymphoma.
