Abstract：Objective To analyze the infection distribution and drug resistance of Acinetobacter baumannii in the Affiliated Hospital of Hainan Medical College,and to provide a basis for clinical diagnosis and treatment.Methods Sputum and urine specimens were collected from 10 368 inpatients and were treated according to the national clinical laboratory procedures(3rd edition).Bacterial identification and susceptibility testing were performed by using automated microbial analyzer and related reagents.Results A total of 136 strains of Acinetobacter baumannii were isolated from the 10 368 patients.The top 5 strains were selected from ICU,department of neurology,department of respiratory medicine,department of neurosurgery and department of pediatrics.The top 5 antibiotics of Acinetobacter baumannii were polymyxin B,minocycline,cefoperazone/sulbactam,imipenem,ciprofloxacin.The drug resistance form high to low were colistin/norfloxacin,ceftriaxone,gentamicin,cotrimoxazole,tetracycline,ampicillin/sulbactam,piperacillin,amikacin,ceftazidime,ciprofloxacin,cefepime,piperacillin/tazobactam,levofloxacin,meropenem,polymyxin B,imipenem,minocycline,and cefoperazone/sulbactam.Conclusion Acinetobacter baumannii was multiresistant to polyantibiotic and cefoperazone/sulbactam can be used as the preferred drug.The surveillance of Acinetobacter baumannii should be enhanced to reduce nosocomial infections.
