Abstract:The finite place method was applied for balancing the shaking force in spatial mechanisms. The method is applicable for the shaking force equilibrium problems for any mechanisms as long as the position analysis has been finished. The shaking force equilibrium of planar mechanisms could be analyzed by compartmentalizing the single opened chains and selecting the appropriate connecting component, and their linear equation groups were automatically produced and easily solved. This method is easier than method of linearly independent vector and other methods.Especially, the method shows great superiority such as agility and succinctness in the process of solving the shaking force equilibrium of the spatial mechanisms. One example was given to show how to use this method to solve the shaking force equilibrium.
