Abstract: The tungsten phosphide(WP) catalysts ware prepared by the temperature programmed reduction method.Subsequently,catalyst activity evaluation was performed in the carbon dioxide reforming of methane reaction,and the molar ratio of 1:1 mixture of CH4 and CO2 was used as the reaction gas.The influence of the catalyst precursor prepared by different preparation methods(such as sol-gel method,high temperature solid state method and hydrothermal method) on WP catalytic properties was studied.The results showed that the catalysts with higher reforming activity ware prepared by the sol-gel and high temperature solid state method,and the conversion rate of methane could be reach about 88%.The catalyst precursors ware prepared by those methods,which ware reduced by temperature-program
