Abstract:Objective To establish a mouse model of lung cancer by subcutaneous transplantation of heterogeneous tumor, and to provide an ideal animal model for clinical and basic research. Methods Kunming mice were subcutaneously injected with human lung adenocarcinoma A549 cells. The success rate of transplantation was observed and tumor weight was measured. Then,HE staining was performed for regular histology observation in fixed paraffin-embedded tissue sections. Results The success rate of lung cancer heterograft was 37.5% in leg subcutaneous tissues of kunming mice. Conclusion The mouse lung tumor model can be established by subcutaneous transplantation of human lung adenocarcinoma A549 cells, but the success rate is low and need further investigation.
