Abstract: The first two volumes of WU Kai-sheng’s An Anthology of Forty Poets in the Late Qing Dynasty have specially collected poetry which belong to Tongcheng School in the late period for revealing the Jizhou-Liangchi poets group represented by WU Ru-lun which have grandly shaped after Tongcheng School moved north.But its poem criticism has highlighted on Du Fu’s poetry and paid great attention to the bold and unconstrained style which reflected feature of epoch surging in the depth of the heart of poet based on the inherited theory system of amalgamation of poem and prose and absorbed different theory of Tang and Song Dyasties.
