Abstract: The 1940s was a period of arts in Chinese fiction images going from multiple to muture.Zhang Ailing gained essence from both Chinese and Western literatures,and merged images with psychological analysis,which modernized the Chinese fiction.Qian Zhongshu,a master of Chinese and Western literatures,improved the intrinstic works of images and expanded the scope of images.Therefore,he made a unique contribution to promoting the quality of fiction language.Although Zhao Shuli used characterization by images,organizing stories with the help of detailed images,he tried to avoid object to meet readers’ aesthetic practices.This demonstrated the distinctions from lyric tradition of Chinese poetry.There were distinctive features,and significant differences in it.This also made a complement to its differences.And at the same time it presented the appearance of its multiple and muture of mixed Chinese and Western cultures in the Chinese fiction images in the 1940s.
