Abstract:The law of original volume change for core concrete of concrete-filled steel tubular(CFST) arch bridges under no compensation shrinkage has been the focus of the engineering.Volumetric method has been used to investigate the law of the volume deformation of C40,C50 and C60 self-compacting concrete(SCC) in sealed curing without expansive agent.Results showed that the volume shrinkage of SCC in sealed curing could be divided into three stages:a remarkablly growth before 14 d,slower between 14 d to 60 d,and an approximate zero growth into stability after 60 d.Volume shrinkage rate after 3,14,28,60 d is about 35%,70%,80% and 90% of the 180 d.Controlling the volume shrinkage before 14 d is amount to control most of the volume shrinkage.
