Abstract:RuO2/Graphene nano-composite materials for supercapacitor were prepared by co-precipitation method. The morphology and structure of the composites were investigated through scanning electron microscopy(SEM),transmission electron microscopy(TEM) and X-ray diffraction(XRD).The materials were coated onto electrode as laminates and assembled into supercapacitors.Electrochemical measurements showed that the composites with 5% wt graphene exhibited good electrochemical performance, and its initial specific capacitance of the composite electrode was 740 F·g-1.Under 2A·g-1 current density and after 8000 deep cycles, the specific capacitance of RuO2/Graphene composite could still retain 71%.The specific capacity and cycle life performance of the RuO2/Graphene composite was found to be much better than the pure RuO2 materials’,which indicated that the composite material might be a good candidate electrode for supercapacitors.
