Abstract:The prediction accuracy of wind speed and motor power in wind farm has an important significance for the power system operation.Based on support vector machine theory,combined with the history of a wind farm in Jiang xi province wind data and power data,this paper established the support vector machine forecasting model to predict the future 4 h wind speed and power.Simulation results showed that the average redative error of model of prediction of the wind speed and power were 6.35% and 16.83%,which is superior to the one of BP(back propagation) neural network 25.37% and 25.43%.
