Abstract: The stiffness and the first order-bending mode of front door were investigated by finite element method.And,the stiffness of the door was emphatically selected as the research object in this research.The target of optimization was to minimize the total weight of the door on condition of satisfying the requirement for these performances.According to the structural property of door,the door safety was discussed through the rational distribution of the strength and thickness of the door important structural components.Finally,it showed that the mass of door was reduced by 10% comparing with the original design.
